About FreeSiteBackLink
What is FreeSiteBackLink?
FreeSiteBackLink is a curated website directory where you can discover useful websites, businesses, services and online resources organized by category.
Our directory is designed to help people find websites that match their interests and needs. Whether you're looking for a specific type of service, exploring a hobby, or researching a topic, our categorized listings make it easy to discover quality websites that you might not find through standard search results.
Who Runs This Directory?
FreeSiteBackLink is operated by a small team of web developers and SEO practitioners with over a decade of combined experience building and maintaining websites. Listings are submitted by real website owners and checked by real people — we manually verify that every website in this directory loads, offers genuine content and matches its stated category. We are not an automated link farm, and we do not sell fake metrics.
This site is run independently. Website owners receive no compensation for being listed, and paid listings are clearly marked with enhanced placement only — they never influence our editorial review of whether a website belongs in the directory.
Our Editorial Standards
- Every listing is checked against our published review guidelines before publication.
- Offline, spammy or misleading websites are removed — we re-check listings automatically on a schedule.
- We disclose how the directory is funded: paid listings and advertising on this website help cover hosting and maintenance.
- Visitors can report any listing that no longer meets our standards — see corrections below.
How It Works
Website owners can submit their sites for inclusion in our directory. Each submission goes through a review process before being published. Our team checks that the website is functional, provides real content or services, and is correctly categorized.
Visitors can browse the directory by category or search for specific types of websites. Every listing includes a description and a direct link to the website.
Our Review Process
We review every submission before it appears in the directory. This helps maintain quality and ensures that visitors find genuinely useful websites. For details on what we check and how the process works, visit our How We Review Websites page.
Listing Options
We offer both free and paid listing options:
- Free Listing: Submit your website at no cost. Free listings require a reciprocal link back to our directory to remain active.
- Paid Listing: A one-time payment that activates your listing immediately without requiring a reciprocal link. Paid listings also receive enhanced placement within the directory.
